Have you ever noticed that some actions leave you feeling drained while others seem to recharge you, even if they take effort? Life is not just about time management—it’s about energy management. The real game is understanding whether what you do creates more energy than it consumes.

If my body and soul are wired for survival, why do I sometimes make choices that leave me drained? If gaining energy is so natural, why don’t I always do it?

That’s the real question. Why do we sometimes resist what is good for us?

The truth is, deep down, your body and soul already know what actions will expand your energy and support your well-being. They naturally gravitate toward energy-gaining activities—movement, nourishment, connection, creativity. But something interrupts this flow.

Is it subconscious patterns? Is it habits passed down through generations? Is it social conditioning? Emotional wounds? The illusions of Maya? The answers can be endless.

But instead of getting lost in the endless loop of analyzing past traumas, what if you started from zero? Instead of reacting to old wounds, what if you simply became present with each decision, in each moment, and asked:

Does this expand my energy, or does it drain me?

The Energy Equation: Gain vs. Loss

Not all energy gain is real, and not all energy loss is truly a loss.

A real energy gain is something that leaves you stronger, clearer, or more fulfilled in the long run—even if it takes effort at the moment. A false gain is something that feels good temporarily but drains you later.

A real energy loss is when something depletes you with no lasting benefit. But a necessary loss is when you invest energy now to receive much greater energy in return

Why Can’t We Always Choose Energy-Gaining Actions?

If energy gain is so beneficial, why don’t we naturally gravitate toward it? This is where subconscious patterns come in. Our minds are wired by past experiences, societal conditioning, and emotional memory. Sometimes, we repeat draining habits simply because they’re familiar—even if they no longer serve us.

Instead of digging endlessly into subconscious trauma, we can approach change from the outside in:

  1. Observe Your Actions First – Don’t get lost in “why” you do things. Just notice: What leaves you energized? What leaves you drained?

  2. Make Small External Shifts – Start adjusting behaviors that impact energy. Organize one small space, swap one habit, or set a simple boundary.

  3. Let New Actions Rewire Your Subconscious – Over time, consistently choosing energy-gaining actions reshapes your inner world naturally. Your subconscious learns through experience, not just analysis.

This approach is active rather than reactive. Instead of getting stuck in endless self-analysis, you create new patterns by doing.

Beyond Personal Energy: The Power of Collective Gain

Some actions go beyond personal benefit—they contribute to the energy of the whole. This is what makes someone a hero. A true hero isn’t just looking at their personal energy balance—they’re playing the bigger game.

Think about the figures we admire: leaders, artists, teachers, healers. They didn’t just seek comfort or security; they acted in ways that elevated the collective. They willingly put in energy—sometimes even sacrificing personal comfort—because they saw a higher return.

This is the paradox of selfless action: When you give energy in a way that lifts others, it doesn’t just drain you—it multiplies. A kind act, a powerful message, a piece of art, or a moment of presence can ripple outward, touching lives in ways you may never see.

When you post a meaningful blog, create art, or help someone, you might feel like you're spending energy. But in reality, you are expanding the energy field beyond yourself. You’re increasing the overall energy of the world, which in turn, enriches your own life.

The Game of Energy Flow

You have all the tools you need to play, all the energy to reach your soul’s most ultimate stage—abundance! If you are playing in the dark, update your toolset. Start tracking energy. Energy may seem intangible, but it manifests clearly in your money, time, health—measure it as precisely as you can.

Everything happening around you is just a game setting. Don’t label it as good or bad based on what you know from this life, the social structures you've absorbed, or self-imposed limitations. Some things will feel uncertain, unknown, or unclear—this only means you’re not there yet. There are different difficulty levels in this game. Gather small, "easier" energy gains first, then return to the greater challenges with more strength and awareness. This is not a game of suffering but of mastery. Wake up, gamer! Have fun with the energy game.
